Just asking.............
Trustee Saville has been proclaiming the vilage should cut costs, review the budget, blah, blah, blah for his entire term & he votes to pay late fees costing the village thousands of dollars & damaging the villages credit status! Classic Saville! Sure he represents the people - they would want to pay late fees!I could say he came to his senses & reconsidered but Saville & sense don't seem to fit in the same sentence.
Another "I didn't have time" cry from Trustee Ponio so he votes to pay late fees - proclaims he wants time to review the bills but apparently doesn't need time to cost the village thousands of dollars in late fees because he voted no to pay the bills real quick. I seem to recall Rabatinni, the private citizen, coming to the meeting early & looking over the bills then questioning the board and I seem to recall trustees asking that bills be pulled before the voting - Ponio apparently never took a clue from either.
Saville & Ponio objected to the finance & administration comittee handling of the board policies thing but did they go to the meeting? Guess it's easier to come to a paying meeting with a audience & throw it in with all their other objections after they sat back & watched the tape.
Saville & Ponio voiced objection to not being able to contacte the lawyer themselves - if they hadn't been party to defeating the meeting agenda ordinance which assigned committees, Ponio would be chairman of a committee & able to contact the lawyer and if Saville hadn't stated he wouldn't accept a chairmanship , he would have been a chairman able to contact the lawyer.
Why at the one meeting when Ponio, Rabattini, & Saville didn't show up they were not questioned as to why they did not come but Ponio felt he needed to know why mascillino & o'malley didn't come to a meeting?
The tapes clearly show who Ponio & Saville represent - themselves.
Hitch says,
"Why at the one meeting when Ponio, Rabattini, & Saville didn't show up they were not questioned as to why they did not come but Ponio felt he needed to know why mascillino & o'malley didn't come to a meeting?"
Um, they were all questioned and had fingers pointed at them about this, even though, at least in regards to Trustee Rabattini, it was known that she would be unable to attend (due to health issues).
Once again, on behalf of those of us who cannot attend village meetings in person, can something be done to improve the sound quality when the blower comes on? You can tell someone is speaking, but you cannot understand a thing that's being said.
Hitch, you seem to be someone "in the know" of who comes to what meetings. Did you ever wonder why Little cant get it together enough to have the bill sheet in the trustees mailboxes a few days before the meeting. It is not too much to ask in my humble opinion.
The three absent trustees were at the parade on Saturday, they were all in town and could have been at the board meeting. What a farce to say others were political when they did not show up and the four cohorts, Hermann, Mascillino, Versiglio and what's her name were not making a political move to not show up.
"Trustee Saville has been proclaiming the vilage should cut costs, review the budget, blah, blah, blah for his entire term & he votes to pay late fees costing the village thousands of dollars & damaging the villages credit status"!
Can we see PROOF of the "THOUSANDS" of dollars?
Put that money where your mouth is please.
What has cost the Village THOUSANDS of dollars was (IS) the well/tower "problem".
